How much does it cost to purchase a message?
A Marquee Message can be purchased for a donation of $250. Messaged will be displayed for a minimum of 24 hours. Your donation to MHP helps offset the time it takes to post each message.
What are the options for displaying my message?
The Flower Theatre marquee has three sides to it: left, center and right. Messages can be posted on any of the three sides of the marquee.
A donation of $250 entitles an individual to place a message on one side of the marquee. Individuals can reserve additional sides of the marquee for an additional charge.
Please indicate which side of the marquee you want your message on with your request.
Can I keep my message up for longer than 24 hours?
Additional days can be added for $100 for each additional day
How long can my message be?
The marquee has three lines for messages.
Each line on the left and right side of the marquee can accommodate up to 38 total characters, including spaces and punctuation.
Each of the three lines on the center of the marquee can accommodate up to 16 total characters, including spaces and punctuation.
Messages should not exceed 50 characters in total length.
What types of messages can I post?
Personal messages should fall into one of these categories:
- Holiday
- Birthday
- Anniversary
- Marriage Proposal
- Congratulations
- Best Wishes
- Good Luck
- Great Job
- In Memory Of / Remembering
Are there any restrictions on the content of the messages?
Advertisements, political or religious messages are prohibited. All message content is subject to approval by MHP staff. MHP reserves the right to deny any messages deemed inappropriate or that do not meet requirements.
How far in advance do I need to request a custom message?
A minimum of 10 days is required to fulfill requests
Please also note the following regarding custom messages:
- Marquee letters are ONLY capitalized, in black lettering
- Flower Theatre programming messages are prioritized over custom messages (events, etc.) so certain dates may be unavailable
- Messages will be posted on only one side of the marquee. Please indicate which side of the marquee you want your message on.
- PLEASE TYPE MESSAGES CAREFULLY. MHP WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSPELLED WORDING
