8AM: 5K Run and Walk starts at the bottom of Long Branch – Garland Neighborhood Park, 8601 Garland Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20912
5K Wave Start
8:00 am Start
– Wave 1: 10 minute mile and faster
– Wave 2: Over 10 minute mile, runners with strollers in the back
– Wave 3: Walkers
Race Location
Long Branch Garland Neighborhood Park (8601 Garland Ave.) at the head of Long Branch trail.

Race Information
Strollers and baby joggers are allowed at the back of Wave 2. No skates, bikes, or pets permitted.

Food, drinks, music and post-race celebration at El Golfo Restaurant

Race Proceeds
Proceeds from the race fund future community events for the Long Branch Business League.
Parking
Parking is available at the Long Branch Community Center. Parking is limited so you are encouraged to walk, cycle, or use the bus. Many bus lines service Piney Branch in front of the Long Branch Community Center.
